One of the most exciting thing in Iceland are the blue ice caves. We came across a special one lately

Last weekend we took some clients to a bit hidden blue ice cave in the Myrdalsjokull glacier. It is a bit of a backroad adventure and, yes, we managed to get stuck in the snow for a while. But that just added to what became a very memorable day:) The most frequented blue ice caves are in the big glacier Vatnajokull but this one is closer to Reykjavik on the South Coast. We can offer this tour to people that like some adventures in the wintertime! This time we hiked a beautiful outlet glacier and found a nice ice wall to do some climbing and rappelling on the first day. Then we overnighted in a nice country hotel in village Kirkjubæjarklaustur (saw some Northern Lights:) and then on the second day we explored the ice cave.
